Apple iPad update
On December 10, 2019, Apple released its newest iOS 13.3 upgrade for iPad and mobile devices. As a result, some iPad users that have upgraded are unable to access Bill Pay via the Safari web
browser. Some iPad users will receive an error message advising cookies must be enabled prior to accessing the application.
Take Action
We recommend the following changes in the Settings menu of your iPad to access Bill Pay after accepting the iOS update: (please note, Mobile Web is not affected)
- Enter the Settings menu
- Scroll down to Safari and click to enter Safari's settings
- Under Safari General Settings, turn off Block Pop-Ups
- Under Safari Privacy & Security, turn off Prevent Cross-Site Tracking (this step is optional)
- Exit the Safari browser; to exit the browser, double-press the Home button and slide the Safari browser up
Once you have performed the settings adjustments, you must restart Safari before opening the banking application to launch bill pay.
By default, you are experiencing the mobile-optimized view of Bill Pay on your iPad. If your iPad is enabled, you may choose to view the desktop version on the Safari browser instead. Look for a new iPad setting, "Request Desktop Sites" in Safari.
