Two Scholarship Opportunities. One Bright Future.

For more than 50 years, MSDFCU has recognized graduating high school seniors who demonstrate a commitment to service, leadership, and achievement. Established in 1971, the Raymond O. Hoffman Memorial Scholarship honors MSDFCU's founder and first president, whose volunteer spirit helped shape the Credit Union.

Today, MSDFCU proudly offers two scholarship opportunities to help students pursue their educational goals and take the next step toward their future.

Raymond O. Hoffman Memorial Scholarship Award for Community Service
Up to five $5,000 scholarships may be awarded annually.

Margaret Hoffman Webster Fine Arts Scholarship
One $5,000 scholarship may be awarded annually.

Both scholarships recognize students who have demonstrated exceptional volunteerism, leadership, and community involvement. Scholarship funds are to be used toward college, trade or technical school, certification programs, or other post-secondary education.

Choose the Raymond O. Hoffman Memorial Scholarship Award for Community Service if you've made a difference through volunteerism, leadership, and community involvement. Choose the Margaret Hoffman Webster Fine Arts Scholarship if you've made a difference through volunteerism, leadership, and community involvement, and you plan to pursue a degree in the fine arts.

What could I receive?
Each scholarship is valued at $5,000 and is intended to help support your educational goals after high school.

What can scholarship funds be used for?
Scholarship funds are intended to help recipients pursue post-secondary education, including college, trade school, technical school, or certification programs.

How are scholarship recipients selected?Applications are reviewed by an independent third-party judging panel, which evaluates applicants based on the scholarship criteria.

When do I need to apply?
Completed applications and all required materials must be submitted by January 31.

One (1) Margaret Hoffman Webster Fine Arts Scholarship of $5,000 may be awarded annually. Scholarship recipients are selected through an independent third-party judging process. The number of scholarships awarded, if any, is determined solely by MSDFCU based on applicant eligibility, application quality, and judging results.
