BillMatrix FAQs

How do I make a loan payment with BillMatrix?

  • Log into BillMatrix from our website as a Guest User to make a one-time payment for the same day or future date no longer than 45 days out.
  • Log into the BillMatrix from our website and become a Registered User to make a one-time payment for the same day, future dated no longer than 45 days out, or set up recurring payments.

    For the last four digits of a Social Security Number (SSN), businesses would use the last four digits of the Employer.
  • Call the MSDFCU Call Center during regular business hours Mon. – Thurs. 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Fri., 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and Sat., 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

Can I use a Debit Card with BillMatrix?

  • You can use Visa and MasterCard debit cards only to make payments. When used as a guest or the call-in channel.
  • You must have the card number, expiration date, and the 3-digit CVV code.
  • BillMatrix Wallet will not recognize when a debit card has expired to stop the payment.

Are there transaction limits?

The minimum payment threshold is $1, and the maximum is $5,000 per transaction.

Are there fees for using BillMatrix?

  • There is no fee when a member registers for this service.
  • There is a $5 fee for this service for one-time payments as a Guest User and when a member calls the MSDFCU Call Center during its regular business hours to make a payment.
  • The member will incur a $20 Return Item if the payment is rejected.

How do I find my MSDFCU loan number?

You can locate your MSDFCU loan number by logging into online banking and clicking on the Account Services Tab. Locate the Account Management button on the left menu, then click on it to view your full account numbers.

What types of loans can I pay with BillMartix?

Loan types accepted, including business loans.

I am signed in; where is my amount due listed?

  • The loan payment Due Amount appears in BillMatrix 15 days before the Due Date and 25 days before the Due Date for a line of credit products, Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC), and Easy Access Line of Credit (EALOC).
  • You can make loan payments through BillMatrix no more than 15 days before the Due Date.
  • Recurring loan payments can be set up in BillMatrix, but the Monthly is the only option.
  • Line of Credit products and the Amount Due will appear 25 days before the Due Date.
  • All other loan products and the Amount Due will appear 15 days before the Due Date.

Can I see past payments?

You can view up to 12 months of payment history as a registered user.

What time of day will my payment be posted?

  • Payments will be posted to the loan account the same day the payment is made. After 6:30 PM EST, the payment is posted the next business day.
  • Payments are made as an ACH pull from the other financial institution's bank account and can take one to three business days to clear.

What if I have AutoPay?

Autopay is a convenient option, but remember you are in control. You are responsible for turning this on and off this option as needed.  (i.e., delay payment or loan paid off). 

Tips

  1. When making a payment from your outside checking or savings, be sure to have the financial institution's account number and routing number ready.
  2. To locate your MSDFCU loan number, log into Online Banking and click on the Account Services tab. Locate the Account Management button on the left side menu and click on it to view your full account numbers.
  3. Payments made after 6:30 p.m. EST will be processed on the next business day.
  4. Credit cards, mortgages, and student loan payments are not accepted.
  5. Loan payoffs are not permitted through BillMatrix—call (215) 996-3700 for information.
  6. Confirm that you have stopped autopay once your loan is paid in full.
