What is a card lock?
A card lock is a feature that allows you to lock or freeze your card for a certain period of time. Many people use card locks because they are quick and easy, and you can do so from your Online Banking account or your Mobile App.
You can use the card lock feature for multiple reasons, the main one being if you have misplaced or had your cards stolen. It can also help keep your accounts safe from fraud.
Locking and unlocking your Debit or Credit Card(s) in Online Banking is easy! Follow the steps below:
Using Card Lock on a Desktop
- Under the Accounts Tab - Select Card Management
- Select the card by hovering over the card image
- The card management option appears
- Click the card management option, and your alerts and controls will appear under the card image
- A toggle will appear where you can lock and unlock your card at any time
- Repeat these steps to unlock your card as well
Using Card Lock on the Mobile App
- Sign in to the Mobile App
- Select the More button on the bottom right
- The drop-down appears, and click the accounts tab
- Select Card Management
- The toggle to lock and unlock your card will automatically appear
