Recent Fraud Scheme: Fraudsters are calling members with a spoofed phone number that matches the valid Credit Union number (method called “Caller ID Spoofing”) requesting transaction verification in order to fraudulently obtain sensitive card data such as: card number, PIN and/or CVV.
