What is an e-Deposit?
With our e-Deposit service, you can enter the details of a check in Home Banking and receive instant credit to your checking account. You don’t have to make a special trip to the branch anymore.
What is the maximum available deposit amount that is credited to my account?
The maximum available amount that is credited to your account is $1,500.00.
How does it work?
- Log in to MSDFCU's Home Banking as you normally would. Select the "Account Services" button from the left navigation menu.
- Click the "e-Deposits" option.
- Select "Enroll in e-Deposits," then view and agree to the disclosure.
- Click on "Add New e-Deposit," enter the details from the check, then click "Add."
- Print your receipt and mail it, along with your check, so it arrives within seven (7) calendar days. Upon request, we will even provide you with pre-addressed envelopes!
When must the Credit Union receive the check before a fee is assessed?
The Credit Union must receive the check within seven calendar days from the date of deposit.
What happens if the check is not received by the seventh day?
The check amount that was credited to your account will be reversed and a fee will be assessed to your checking account.
