Access your account(s) 24-hours a day online. Our secure Home Banking system allows you to view balances and histories, transfer funds, and more with the click of a mouse. Add our Online Bill Pay service and you can schedule payments from your share draft/checking account with the click of a mouse.

e-Deposits

The next time you have a check to deposit, do it online. With our new
e-Deposit service, you can enter the details of a check in Home Banking and receive instant credit to your checking account - up to $1,500. You don’t have to make a special trip to a branch anymore.

Here’s how:

  1. Log in to MSDFCU's Home Banking as you normally would. Select the "Account Services" button from the left navigation menu.
  2. Click the "e-Deposits" option.
  3. Select "Enroll in e-Deposits," then view and agree to the disclosure.*
  4. Click on "Add New e-Deposit," enter the details from the check, then click "Add."
  5. Print your receipt and mail it, along with your check, so it arrives within seven (7) calendar days. Upon request, we will even provide you with pre-addressed envelopes!

*You will only see this option the first time you log in. When you log in subsequent times, select the "Manage e-Deposits" option.

Visa Check Card (Debit Card)

It's like writing a check... only easier. Funds automatically deduct from your checking account. You can pay for purchases anywhere Visa is accepted - millions of merchants worldwide. Plus, you get 24-hour ATM access to your account(s) at machines where Visa, STAR/MAC, Allpoint Network, Cirrus or Plus are accepted. All purchases and withdrawals are itemized on your monthly statement for easy record keeping. Use this card at any CU$ Network ATM and avoid surcharge fees.

Also, you'll automatically start earning CURewards points with your check card. Receive one CUReward point for every $2 you spend when you use your check card, choose "Credit," and sign your receipt. Points are redeemable for free travel services and merchandise.

CUTIPS Audio Response

From any touch-tone telephone, you can get up-to-date account balance information, listen to account histories, see if a check has cleared your account, transfer funds between accounts or request a withdrawal. This is a FREE service which you can request to use by contacting the Call Center at (215) 996-3700. To access CUTIPS, dial (215) 996-3700 or 1-800-4CUTIPS
(1-800-428-8477). Then follow the menu prompts. Note: Please speak to a representative to initialize your CUTIPS service.

Courtesy Pay

This service may allow us to pay an item presented for payment against your checking account even if it causes the account to become overdrawn. While it is not an invitation to overdraw your account, it is an added layer of safety should you accidentally write checks for more than you have in your account, or an inadvertent error causes the account to become overdrawn.

There are many benefits to you with this service, including:
• Saving you from the embarrassment of returned checks
• Saving you from merchant returned check charges
• Saving you collection agency fees and protects your good credit rating

We require no application or additional signatures from you to add this safety measure to your checking account.

Wire Transfers

Incoming and Outgoing transfers are available to all members who need to send or receive funds from another financial institution quickly. Click here for transfer forms.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Effective January 1, 2007 all wire transfers designated to the European Union must include a valid BIC (Bank Identification Code, a.k.a. SWIFT Code) and a valid IBAN (International Bank Account Number). A full receiving bank address will also be required. The codes and bank address information can only be supplied by the recipient or by the European financial institution. Failure to provide accurate BIC and IBAN codes could result in penalty charges imposed by the receiving financial institution, rejection and return.

Any wire transfer agreement presented to Merck Sharp & Dohme FCU, which does not meet these requirements, will result in immediate denial of the request.

Other Services

Direct Deposit
Have all or a portion of your pay deposited into your credit union account. You can also have your Social Security, Pension or any other scheduled checks deposited into the credit union. Merck employees may use this form to sign up. Others should contact their payroll office.

Payroll Deduction
(Merck employees only)
Once funds are deposited into your account they can be distributed to any of your accounts to fit your financial needs. It is an easy, safe, affordable way to start a savings plan. Set up Payroll Deduction with this form.

U.S. Savings Bonds
Savings bonds are a long-standing American savings tradition because they are safe and secure investments, plus they make terrific gifts for birthdays, weddings, and graduations.

Money Orders
Money Orders are a convenient way to send money through the mail. They may be purchased at any office.

American Express Traveler's Cheques and Gift Checks
For your convenience, we offer American Express Travelers Cheques. A trip to your Credit Union provides you with your vacation protection or accomplishes your gift-buying needs. These checks make great gifts for family and friends.

FREE Notary Services
